Azure Virtual Sale Price

Microsoft has announced that it has rejected the prices of some of its popular virtual machine (VM) instances on its Azure public gloom platform. Here’s a failure of Azure VM tools in Australia right now.

Here’s an azure virtual machine pricing summing-up of the pricing changes Microsoft has introduced:

  • General Purpose Instances: Rates of our Dv2 series VMs will be reduced by up to 15%. We are also lowering costs of our A1 and A2 Basic VMs by up to 50%.
  • Computer Optimised Instances: Rates of our F sequence will be reduced up to 11%.
  • Av2 sequence: In November 2016, we will introduce new A sequence virtual machines (Av2), with costs up to 36% lower than the A series Standard VM costs available today.

D1-5 v2 instances are the latest generation of General Purpose Instances. D1-5 v2 instances are based on the 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon (r) E5-2673 v3 (Haswell) processor, and can achieve 3.1 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0. D1-5 v2 instances offer a strong combination of CPU, memory and neighborhood saucer for most yield applications.

Here’s how much the D1-5 v2 specimen rate for Azure in Australia exploiting CentOS or Ubuntu Linux (fields labeled):

INSTANCE CORES RAM DISK SIZES 1 PRICE
D1 v2 1 3.50 GiB 50 GB $0.084/hr (East)
$0.0818/hr (Southeast)
D2 v2 2 7.00 GiB 100 GB $0.168/hr (East)
$0.1558/hr (Southeast)
D3 v2 4 14.00 GiB 200 GB $0.336/hr (East)

D5 v2 16 56.00 GiB 800 GB $1.345/hr (East)
$1.246/hr (Southeast)

Here’s how much A1 and A2 instances payment for Azure in Australia using CentOS or Ubuntu Linux (fields labelled):A Basic are the most economical alternative on Microsoft Azure for development workloads, research servers, build servers, system storehouses, low-traffic websites and web applications, micro works, early product ventures and small databases.

The F-Series virtual machines sport 2 GiB RAM and 16 GB of neighbourhood solid state drive (SSD) per CPU core, and are optimized for compute intense workloads. The F-series is based on the 2.4 GHz Intel Xeon (r) E5-2673 v3 (Haswell) processor, which can achieve clock hurries as high as 3.2 GHz with the Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0. These VMs are suitable for situations like quantity processing, network servers, analytics and gaming.

For long-lasting storage, use the variant “Fs” VMs and acquire Premium Storage separately. The pricing and billing rhythms for Fs sizes are identical in F-series.

INSTANCE CORES RAM DISK SIZES 1 PRICE
F1 1 2.00 GiB 16 GB $0.069/hr (East)
$0.068/hr (Southeast)
F2 2 4.00 GiB 32 GB $0.137/hr (East)
